R.I.P little guy. You have been the best company I could ask for over the last seven years. You have made me laugh, and ket my feet warm at night. I will really miss you. On thursday night, I was in the middle of writing a post about how fast this month had gone. I then looked over and Sam was having a hard time breathing. I took him to the emergency vet, but he didn’t make it through the night.

Isaac has been walking around the house crying for him. Not only was Sam my company, but he was Isaac’s best buddy. Isaac, although a great cat, is not a very people cat. He never has been. Has never sat in my lap, runs away when I try and pet him. But he was Sam’s cat. And now he is alone. I think he will end up okay.

As for the other goings on, my mom and stepfather are here for Christmas. My stepbrother and his family were in the city today. We went to see the Rockefeller Center Tree, and the Time Square Ball. We took a carriage ride in Central Park, and had a great day.

The knitting has been almost absent. For whatever reason I haven’t wanted to pick up the needles. But I hope to get some done over the next few days.

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone. And happy holidays to all you who do not celebrate Christmas.

That’s too bad; it’s horrible to lose a pet. My sympathies to you.

I’m so sorry about the loss of your pet. My cats are two of the best companions I’ve ever had, and I can’t imagine how difficult it will be when it’s their time to pass on.

I just came across your blog and saw this post. I’m so sorry. We lost one of our cats on the 11th and it was so rough.

    Take care.
