This is a photo filled post.

First of all, I survived the exam. I will find out next week if I passed. I have no idea if I passed. I was really nervous. But we shall see.

Now for all the pictures I have been promising. First, a much belated thank you picture to my wonderful SP6, Erin.

Secret Pal Finale

These are the goodies she sent me in my final package. Knit Happens Lorna’s lace sock yarn, namaste knitting needles, and lots of good smelling stuff to clean my body and to keep my skin soft. They are all wonderful.

Next is the wonderful Christmas present that I got from my sister. She is the best. The new Yarn Harlot book, some wool, a stitch counter, and a measuring tape. I love them all.
Christmas Gift

Next are the first completed pair of socks, that I gave to my friend for her birthday. She loved them. And the color in the picture is much brighter than they really are. But they are soft, went quickly and turned out well. I used a generic toe-up sock pattern. It is Cherry Tree Hill Super sport. I have another hank in a different colorway that I hope to make for myself. Hopefully soon.

I have also been working on an Irish Hiking scarf with some Alpaca Silk. It calls for size 8 needles, but I was dieing to use my glass needles and so I am using size 10. I think it will turn out okay.

Finally, I have been working on a baby sweater for my friend who just had twins. I hope to get them finished soon. Hope you enjoy the pics. Have a good weekend.

Glad you’re back up. Friday I am going to learn to knit! Well begin anyway. I’m very excited. You and your sister have inspired me.
